Welcome to Storm’s End Counseling
A Safe Space for Healing
Storm’s End is a solo-practitioner, entirely virtual, mental health practice that provides services to teens, individuals, and couples in the state of Oregon.
Meet Kiersten, Your New Therapist
Mental health struggles can lead us to feel lost, alone and like there is no clarity in sight on what could help. I hope to be a guiding light in helping clients find clarity around what obstacles and patterns are interfering them or their relationships from reaching satisfaction in their lives. We all deserve a space where we feel understood, safe, and seen, and Storm’s End is here to provide that space for you or your relationship.
My goal is to provide a non-judgmental space where you feel safe to be honest with yourself or your partner without fear of criticism. My practice is open, affirming, and supportive to people of any age, color, culture, disability, neurodivergency, ethnicity, national origin, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, or socioeconomic status.
Through our exploration I hope to help both relationships and individuals better understand themselves and their relationships. It takes consistent, repetitive practice to learn new patterns and implement change. I am here to be alongside you as a core support through this journey you are starting on to better understand yourself.

-
My work with teens is aimed at building self-esteem, emotion-regulation skill development, developing a strong sense of self and building confidence to communicate their emotions effectively.

I believe through cultivating self-compassion and curiosity in the therapy room, you can find clarity for yourself, and implement change in the ways needed to achieve your goals. I work with individuals on identifying maladaptive patterns that are no longer serving them and identifying options for positive change. Some of the areas I work on with individuals are anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, healing from past traumas and developing coping skills.
-
I work with couples to increase awareness around what actions and behaviors cause the cycle of conflict in order to disrupt it and give alternative options on how to respond. I aim to help couples find strategies and skills to work through the conflict and come out feeling understood and heard by their partner. We will work together to find ways to communicate your emotions and perspective in times of conflict in a way that will foster connection as opposed to resentment and further hurt.

I work with teens who have ADHD/ADD and need support developing skills with executive functioning tasks and emotion regulation. I work with Joellyn Johnson at Portland ADHD coach. Feel free to visit portlandadhdcoach.com to reach out for scheduling if ADHD coaching is of interest, rather than mental health therapy.
